Eupatorium fistulosum - Trumpetweed

Eupatorium fistulosum, known as Trumpetweed or Hollowed Stem Joe Pye Weed, this perennial is massive in size, averaging 6' in height, but has been known to soar up to 7' high. Because of this, Eupatorium fistulosum needs lots of space to grow, unless placed adjacent next to other Trumpetweed where the plants will easily soar to above average heights. The flowers are in bloom from late summer through the fall, and the roots are used it a variety of holistic medicines.
