Salvia nemerosa 'May Night' - Meadow Sage


Salvia nemerosa is an herbaceous, upright, clump-forming perennial with lanceolate green leaves showy spikes of small, tubular blue/lavender/purple flowers in early summer and sporadically throughout the summer into early fall.  It is easily grown in average, dry to medium, well-drained soils in full sun.  Excellent for rock gardens or the perennial garden, the color will match great with yellows and oranges.
'May Night' is a heavy bloomer with deep purple-blue flowers.  It is an outstanding perennial that works well in the garden.  Match the purple spikes with yellows and oranges and pale pink flowers.
