Rudbeckia fulgida 'Goldsturm' - Black Eyed Susan


Rudbeckia fulgida is an upright, rhizomatous, clump-forming coneflower which typically grows to 3' tall.  It features daisy-like flowers with yellow rays and brownish-purple center disks that appear throughout the summer and well into the autumn. It is easily grown in average, moist, well-drained soils in full sun. 

'Goldsturm' cultivar has deep yellow petals, larger flowers, and is more compact than the straight species.
